Kate was heavy into science during her time at Macalester College. She majored in neuroscience, with a minor in chemistry, biology and computer science. While test tubes and lab coats seemed to be in her future, all that changed when she took an Intro to Coding class her junior year. She was hooked on software development! With the help of Dev10, Kate launched her tech career with a retail company in the Midwest where she tests code for point of sale (POS) systems.
