Our Founder and CEO, Harley Lippman, has been recognized as a Best CEO for Diversity. This is the second year in a row that Harley has received this recognition and he joins execs from IBM, Workday, and Hubspot on the list of honorees. Lippman also received a nod as a Best CEO for Women this month.
The Best CEO for Diversity list is based on how employees of color rate and approve of their CEOs via anonymous surveys collected by Comparably.com, a workplace culture and compensation website. Comparably conducts employee sentiment surveys throughout the year and bases its awards on over 20 million ratings across 70,000 companies.
DE&I Culture at Genesis10
Genesis10 values Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and has put in place several initiatives aimed at creating an environment where everyone feels respected and empowered.
Genesis10, under the leadership of its Founder and CEO Harley Lippman, launched a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council in 2022. Since then, the DE&I Council has helped foster the creation of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) for women, young professionals and caregivers.
Diversity also plays a role in Genesis10’s February 2023 certification as a Disability-Owned Business Enterprise (DOBE) through the organization Disability: IN. Harley is neurodivergent, and as a majority owner of Genesis10, that qualifies the business as a minority-owned supplier of talent and staffing services.
Previous Genesis10 Honors
June has been a good month for Harley and Genesis10! This Best CEO for Diversity distinction comes after Comparably named Harley a Best CEO for Women. Genesis10 was also recognized by ClearlyRated as a Best Staffing Firm for Women earlier in the month.
In 2023, Genesis10 has received media attention in various U.S. markets, including New York, where it was named a Best Place to Work and in Milwaukee where it was named one of the largest staffing firms. Harley was also named an influential leader within the staffing industry by SIA (Staffing Industry Analysts). You can learn more about the recognitions Genesis10 has received throughout the United States on the news page of our website.
Comparably awards are based on sentiment feedback provided by current employees who anonymously rated their employers on Comparably.com during a 12-month period (May 15, 2022 through May 15, 2023). Employees had the opportunity to answer on specific workplace topics about their CEOs, leadership (executive teams and direct managers), and professional development opportunities. Each answer is given a numerical score and compared to companies of similar size.
