Genesis10 has once again been named to Staffing Industry Analysts’ (SIA) annual list of the Largest Staffing Firms in the U.S. as ranked by staffing revenue in 2022. To qualify for inclusion on the list, a company had to report a minimum of $100 million in staffing-related revenue, which means 251 firms were included. That’s up from 225 firms that made the cutoff for the previous year’s list.
Genesis10’s commitment to clients
Genesis10’s inclusion on the list underscores its success in helping businesses navigate a challenging and fluid environment.
“Our flexibility and commitment to listening to our clients allowed us to have a very successful year in 2022,” said Glenn Klein, president of Genesis10. “The market for talent – and IT talent in particular – continues to be competitive despite market uncertainty. We’ve worked hard to develop solutions that help our clients drive innovation in all conditions.”
Since its founding by CEO Harley Lippman in 1999, Genesis10 has fostered an entrepreneurial culture that has enabled us to grow in ways that better support our clients. We are now a full-service talent firm that offers not only traditional IT staffing, but also non-IT talent, onshore delivery centers, digital consulting, and in-house tech training and deployment through Dev10, our talent development arm.
In 2023, we also marked a significant milestone by earning certification as a Disability-Owned Business Enterprise (DOBE) through the organization Disability: IN. This certification establishes us as a diverse supplier of staffing services. In fact, SIA recently named us to its list of diversity-owned staffing firms.
More on the SIA largest staffing firms list
SIA’s list of the largest staffing firms includes staffing-related revenue, which it defines as revenue generated from the provision of temporary workers to business clients; “place and search” services (direct hire/permanent placement and retained search); and “temp-to-hire” conversions.
According to SIA, the 251 firms on the 2023 list generated $168.8 billion, which accounts for 77.2 percent of the market.
“With 251 companies in this year’s report of staffing firms over $100 million in US revenue, this market share analysis provides by far the largest and most comprehensive listing that we have ever produced highlighting the diverse landscape of US staffing. While the industry overall is quite fragmented, with more than 20,000 staffing firms in the U.S., the companies listed account for over three quarters of U.S. staffing market revenue,” said Barry Asin, SIA President. “Additionally, this report highlights the growth of the industry, as the number of firms over $100 million has grown from just 98 in 2010 to 225 in 2021 and now to more than 250 last year.”
