Genesis10 met recently with administration officials to discuss the company’s workforce Optmization Service and its potential to address critical employment issues.
Harley Lippman, Genesis10 founder and CEO and Valerie Miller, national director, participated in the May 15 meeting at the White House. The meeting was hosted by Corporate Voices for Working Families, a leading national business membership organization on public and corporate policy issues involving working families. Attending were policy advisors and officials from the Office of Social Innovation and Civic Participation; the National Economic Council; the White House Office of Public Engagement & Intergovernmental Affairs – White House Business Council; and the Domestic Policy Council.
Administration officials discussed with Genesis10 how the company’s model of recruitment, training and mentoring can be applied to address jobs issues such as long-term unemployment, “second chance” employment, and veterans’ employment.

According to the company, key facets of the program are mentoring and providing a clear path for career development. “We have a proven methodology to help companies deconstruct roles and reengineer work tasks in conjunction with workforce readiness training in order to generate opportunities where un- and underemployed professionals, recent college graduates and U.S. military veterans can be successful,” stated Miller. “Another benefit of our programs,” Miller continued, “is that Genesis10 assumes the risk for clients by making the investment in individuals the company has identified as having potential.”
